It’s time to sign up for Mallard Creek’s next Rise Against Hunger meal packing event, which will be on February 1, 2025 in the Dining Hall at 9:00am. Here’s the registration link:
It’s extremely important to register in advance so that we have an accurate headcount of participation.
This will be our 13th event and to date we packaged over 198,000 meals that have been distributed around the world. The 15,120 meals prepared last February were ultimately sent to Burundi, located in the Rift Valley of East Africa. It’s worth noting that Rise Against Hunger supported Western North Carolina and other areas affected by Hurricane Helene by supplying over $6 million of urgently needed hygiene kits, over-the-counter medications, baby formula and children’s medication.
