In addition to our hands-on mission work and events, Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church supports a variety of agencies financially that actively minister to the needs of the world and that correspond to our own efforts to serve Jesus Christ by ministering to those in need of grace, mercy, and reconciliation.
Organizations We Support
Camp Grier
Camp Grier, founded in 1952, is a mission and outdoor adventure ministry of the PCUSA.
People often think about mountains, wilderness, and natural places as sanctuaries where they can listen for God's call. In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus even slipped away to the wilderness to pray when the crowds got too big. It's also well known that Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, do not stop them."
At Camp Grier we believe God created these wild and quiet places so we can all have a space in which to hear the Holy Spirit. God's wilderness should be accessible and cost should never be a reason a child can not come to the mountains.

Alexander Youth Network
Empowering kids and families to recover from severe emotional and behavioral challenges
Alexander Youth Network provides quality professional treatment to children with serious emotional and behavioral problems. Alexander delivers an effective and efficient array of services, enabling children and their families to exercise self-determination, achieve their potential, and become positive contributors to society.
Alexander has combined a variety of treatment programs into a complete Service Array; a series of programs that work together from start to finish. As a child grows and improves, programs can offer the stability of customized treatment to keep intact the child's safety net of friends and the professionals the child has grown to trust. Positive changes have a chance to take root and the child learns new patterns and behaviors; improving faster with longer-lasting results.

Unicef
In the United States, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF engages American youth by providing opportunities for them to advocate, fundraise and volunteer on behalf of their peers around the world.
Through a variety of programs, volunteer clubs, initiatives and partnerships, hundreds of thousands of young Americans contribute to UNICEF's lifesaving work and learn more about the issues of child survival and international development.
UNICEF's emergency relief efforts are focused primarily outside of the U.S., in countries that are less equipped to meet the basic needs of children or that are affected by conflict or natural disaster. But, when Hurricane Katrina left hundreds of thousands of children along the Gulf Coast without homes and schools, UNICEF responded by sending School-in-a-Box and recreation kits to the region.
