Teen Events at the Community House

Our teens had a great time during July at our outdoor events at the Community House! We were supposed to go on 3 trips in July: a mission trip to Raleigh Youth Mission, middle school Montreat at Maryville College, and high school Montreat conference. Unfortunately, those trips were canceled due to the pandemic. We are taking Covid very seriously, but also all desperately missed each other, so we gathered on 3 separate occasions (middle schoolers, 9th & 10th graders, then 11th & 12th graders, in order to keep numbers small) outdoors at our Community House to eat pizza (served responsibly!) and play 4-square. I am so proud of our teens for wearing their masks and keeping their distance while showing the love of God to one another. What a blessed opportunity to have fellowship and share in Christ’s love in a new way!
