The quote from an unknown source describes the work of the folks at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church. The annual barbecue is not a project of the Barbecue Committee, it is a whole-church event... the single largest project tackled each year to raise money for missions and operational needs.
This is a great time of fellowship, hard work, and believe it or not, a lot of fun. Please come! We are counting on you.
The Mallard Creek Bar-B-Que is a local tradition that began in 1929 with a meal prepared for the men's group to discuss how they were going to pay down their current debt. The profits of $89 from that first barbecue enabled them to meet the obligation and history was made!
Please reserve the 4th Thursday in October each year to join with Mallard Creek Prebyterian Church at the annual Bar-B-Que for good faith and fellowship.
